Vacation Bible School

Theme 2025 - Grace in Action

PreK3 - 1st Grade

2nd - 3rd Grade

4th - 5th Grade

Tribes

Each tribe is made up of students of similar ages and abilities. Together, they will learn of God’s grace as demonstrated through his Word and the life of Jesus.

The Workshop

In the Craft Workshop, students will have the opportunity to complete craft projects that will correspond with the lessons of God’s grace in a way that will reinfoce the truths that they are learning from His Word.

Marketplace Cafe

This is always one of the most popular parts of VBS…the FOOD! As James 1:17 reminds us, every good thing in our lives comes from God. You can be certain that the food will be GOOD! Each night a small, light snack will be provided for the students to help keep their minds sharp and their attention directed upon learning of God’s grace.

Bible Study in the Synagogue

In Jesus’ time, the people would gather to study God’s Word in a place called the Synagogue. Most towns in Israel had one and here is where God’s Word was to be focused on. As students gather to learn from God’s Word this is where we make sure the BIBLE is front and center of all that we do in Vacation BIBLE School.

Day 1

In the Garden

Genesis 3:1-24, 2:15-17, Romans 6:23

God’s grace was shown as He provided coverings for Adam and Eve as He removed them from the Garden of Eden following their sin.

Day 2

At the Red Sea

Exodus 14:1-31, Psalm 50:15

God’s grace was shown for Israel as He provided a way of escape when there seemed to be no way.

Day 3

Through the Roof

Luke 5:17-26, Romans 5:8

Jesus showed His grace when he not only healed the paralyzed man but also forgave him of his sins.

Day 4

At the Cross

Luke 23:33-47,

Romans 10:9-10

God’s grace was seen on

the cross when He

promised forgiveness to

the those who were

guilty.

The Pasture

The Pasture is a place where students are encouraged to find rest for their minds, if not for their bodies as they learn through prayer and cooperation in the games and activities their leaders provide.

Court of Music

In the Court of Music the students will learn to sing songs that reinforce the lessons they are learning about God’s Word. Through singing and learning interpretive motions that correspond with the lyrics, the students are taught to actively participate in Worship. BONUS: The same songs they are learning are used on Sunday Mornings in Worship Services where they are encouraged to worship utilizing the motions and to sing the lyrics they have become familiar with.
